  • CENTRAL PROVINCE.

    • TEMPLE OF THE TOOTH.


The Buddhist temple houses a tooth relic of the Buddha and is one of the most sacred places for Buddhist. Daily rituals, the vibrant atmosphere during the Esala Perahara festival in July/August, and the museum that provides historical context. Dress modestly (covering shoulders and knees) when visiting and attend the ceremony in the evening for a unique cultural experience.


    • SIGIRIYA ROCK FORTRESS.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sigiriya was built in the 5th century by King Kashyapa as a royal citadel. It is famous for its massive rock plateau and stunning frescoes. The Lion's Gate, Mirror Wall, and remains of royal gardens and ponds. You can climb to the summit for panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Start early in the morning to avoid crowds and the heat. Wear comfortable shoes for the climb.

    • DAMBULLA CAVE TAMPLE.


This UNESCO World Heritage Site features over 150 Buddha statues and murals dating back to the 1st century BC. Five main caves with elaborate frescoes, statues of Buddha, and various deities, this largest cave, the Great Cave, is particularly impressive. Be prepared for a climb with several steps and respect the religious environment by dressing appropriately.

    • KANDY LAKE.


A picturesque man-made lake located in the heart of Kandy, perfect for leisurely strolls. Enjoy scenic views of the lake, relax by the water, and visit the surrounding gardens.

  • SOUTHERN PROVINCE.

    • YALA NATIONAL PARK.



Yala is the most visited national park in Sri Lanaka and known for its diverse wildlife, including elephants, leopards, and a variety of bird species. Safari tours are available, allowing visitors to explore the park's wildlife and stunning landscapes, including forests, wastelands and coastlines. The dry season (February to June) is ideal for wildlife sighting.

    • GALLE FORT.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved examples of a colonial fortress in Asia. Walk along the fort walls, visit the historic lighthouse, and explore quaint streets lined with cafes, shops and colonial architecture. Enjoy watching the sunset from the fort walls or visiting the National Maritime Meesum.

    • MIRISSA BEACH.


Beautiful beaches, surfing, and whale watching. Relax on the beach, go snorkeling or diving, and take part in whale-watching tours (best from November to April). Enjoy local seafood at beachside restaurants for a delicious experience.

  • UVA PROVINCE.
    • ELLA.


A picturesque town known for its stunning views, tea plantation, and hiking opportunities. Hike to Ella Rock, visit the Nine Arches Bridge, and enjoy the views from Little Adam's Peak. Don't miss the nearby tea factories for a tour. December to March, when the weather is typically clear and pleasant.

    • NUWARA ELIYA.

Known as "Little England" for its cool climate, tea estates, and colonial architecture. Visit tea plantations, Lake Gregory for boating, and explore the charming town known for its parks and gardens. March to May, when the weather is mild.

  • NORTHERN CENTRAL PROVINCE.
    • POLONNARUWA.

Polonnaruwa was the second capital of Sri Lanka and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Well-preserved ruins of palaces, gardens, and Buddhist temples, including the Gal Vihara rock temple with its impressive Buddha statues. Biking around the ancient city is a popular way to explore.

    • ANURADHAPURA.


Ancient city and another UNESCO World Heritage Site, Anuradhapura was the center of Sinhalese civilization for over a millennium. Ancient stupas such as Ruwanwelisaya and the sacred Bodhi tree (Sri Maha Bodhi). Explore the ruins of palaces and monasteries. Rent a bicycle to explore the vast area comfortably.
